We are proud to recognize Okanagan Hockey Group (OHG) as a key supporter of this yearβs South Asian Ball Hockey tournament. Their dedication to athlete development and community building makes them a perfect partner for our growing event.ππ
OHGβs commitment to holistic athlete developmentβboth on and off the iceβaligns seamlessly with the core values of our tournament. Like us, they believe in creating pathways for young athletes to achieve their dreams through structured training, academic support, and strong mentorship. Their emphasis on effort, attention to detail, and a positive mindset mirrors the same traits we celebrate in ball hockey.
As we host nearly 400 athletes across divisions and welcome families, friends, and fans from across Canada, OHAGs partnership helps us provide a best-in-class tournament experienceβone that not only showcases talent but also serves as a stepping stone to national and Olympic-level competition. Together, weβre working to make the sport more equitable, inclusive, and accessible.
Weβre also thrilled to share that Okanagan Hockey Academy's (OHA) very own Dampy Brar (OHA U17 Prep assistant coach) is one of the main organizers of the 2025 South Asian Ball Hockey tournamentβalso known as the South Asian Canada Cupβand will be playing in the event alongside his son, Saiva Brar, who plays on our OHA U17 team.
Whether it's on the ice or the ball hockey court, Okanagan Hockey Group and our tournament share a vision: to inspire, develop, and elevate the next generation of athletes.
