Jennifer Barnes brings extensive experience in operations, administration, and process management to Okanagan Hockey Academy, where she serves as Manager of Registration, Administration & Special Projects.
Jennifer joined Okanagan Hockey Group in 2020 as the Academy Registrar before stepping into her current management role in 2024. Since then, she has become an integral part of the Academy’s administrative team, overseeing registration processes, supporting families and student-athletes through the administrative side of the program, and managing a variety of special projects across the organization.
Before joining Okanagan Hockey Group, Jennifer spent 16 years as an Operations Manager in the natural health industry. Her experience in operations and logistics developed her ability to keep complex processes organized, solve problems efficiently, and ensure the many moving parts of a busy organization continue to run smoothly.
Jennifer holds a Diploma in Chemical Sciences Technology from BCIT and brings an analytical, practical, and solution-focused approach to her work. She is passionate about finding ways to make processes more efficient, supporting her colleagues, and creating a positive experience for families as they navigate the administrative side of the OHA program.
Whether managing registration, coordinating projects, or solving the unexpected challenges that come with a busy hockey organization, Jennifer is committed to keeping things moving and helping OHA operate as smoothly as possible.
