๐ฌ From the Coaching Staff:
โOur captain and assistant captains were selected based on leadership qualities, character, and daily habits โ not solely on on-ice performance. We looked closely at consistency in work ethic, accountability, and the ability to lead by example in practices, games, school, and within the community.
These players demonstrate a team-first mentality, show respect to teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents, and consistently uphold the standards we expect within our program.
In addition, they are strong communicators and trusted voices in the locker room, especially during challenging moments. They represent the culture and identity we want this team to carry forward and are committed to reinforcing those values every day. Being named to a leadership role is a responsibility, and we believe these individuals are well-suited to guide and support this group throughout the season.โ
