Josh Arnold returns to Okanagan Hockey Academy as Head Coach of the U17 team, bringing firsthand experience as an OHA student-athlete, junior hockey player, and NCAA Division I athlete.
Josh spent three formative seasons at OHA Penticton from 2014 to 2017 before advancing to the BCHL with the Wenatchee Wild, where he played from 2017 to 2019. During his time in Wenatchee, Josh was part of a team that captured the prestigious Fred Page Cup, gaining valuable experience competing at a high level of junior hockey.
Following his junior career, Josh continued his hockey journey at Northern Michigan University, where he played NCAA Division I hockey during the 2019โ20 season. While injuries brought his playing career to an early end, his passion for the game and desire to remain involved in hockey led him to pursue coaching and player development.
As someone who has experienced the OHA program firsthand and progressed through junior and university hockey, Josh brings a unique perspective to his role as a coach. He understands the challenges and opportunities student-athletes face throughout their development and is passionate about helping players build the skills, confidence, work ethic, and habits needed to reach their next level.
Josh looks forward to returning to OHA in a new capacity and helping guide the next generation of student-athletes both on and off the ice
