Zach Taillefer brings over a decade of experience in goaltender coaching to Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) Penticton, where he joins us as a Goaltending Instructor for the 2024-2025 season under the Goalie Group. Throughout his career, Zach has honed his ability to develop goalies at all levels, helping them reach their full potential both on and off the ice. His coaching philosophy focuses on building strong fundamentals, mental resilience, and game awareness, ensuring his athletes are well-prepared for any challenge. Zach prides himself on tailoring his approach to meet the unique needs of each goaltender, fostering their growth through personalized training and continuous feedback. His passion for the game drives him to stay updated with the latest techniques and strategies, contributing effectively to the success of his athletes and the teams they represent.
Zachโs recent on-ice experience, including playing the 2022-23 season with Laser HT Akatemia in the Finnish III-division A, equips him with a wealth of knowledge and the latest goaltending techniques, making him a valuable asset in todayโs fast-paced game.
