With a rich history and strong emphasis on academic achievement, Pen High offers a variety of programs, extracurricular activities, and leadership opportunities, allowing students to thrive in all areas of school life.
Flexible Scheduling for Success
To accommodate the demands of both academics and athletics, Pen High has implemented a unique schedule. Student-athletes attend school from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, ensuring they can complete their core classes without missing essential practice or training sessions. This schedule enables our athletes to excel in the classroom while remaining fully committed to their athletic development.

OHA Penticton provides a comprehensive support system to help student-athletes manage their educational workload:
- Mandatory Weekly Study Hall
Our weekly study hall sessions give students dedicated time for academic focus, including one-on-one instruction with our Academic Advisors. These sessions ensure students stay on top of their coursework and manage their busy schedules effectively. - Guidance for Post-Secondary Pathways
Our Academic Advisor, Dave Nackoney, works closely with students to navigate critical milestones such as SATs, ACTs, and the NCAA Clearinghouse. By providing expert guidance, Dave ensures that all post-secondary options are available to our students when they are ready to take the next step in their academic journey.
Immersion in School Life
At OHA, we encourage our student-athletes to engage fully in their school communities.
