Event Details:
The weekend is packed with valuable learning and skill-building opportunities, including:
- OHA Information Session: Participants explore the OHA experience, including academic programs and hockey development pathways that help players reach their full potential both on the ice and in the classroom.
- College Representation: More than 20 colleges are represented, including prestigious programs from the NCAA, USports, ACHA, and ACAC, giving players significant exposure to a wide range of collegiate opportunities. The list of attending colleges for 2026 will be updated as programs confirm their attendance.
- College Coach Hot Stove: Athletes engage directly with college coaches, asking questions and receiving advice on advancing their hockey careers to the collegiate level.
- On-Ice Skills Session: A dynamic on-ice session allows participants to refine their skills under the guidance of OHA’s professional coaches and collegiate-level expertise.
- Strength and Conditioning Session: Led by OHA’s Head of Strength and Conditioning, Paul Bisnauth, this session emphasizes enhancing athletic performance while minimizing injury risks through evidence-based training.
- Dedicated Goalie Ice Session: Goaltenders benefit from specialized training with OHA’s Head Goalie Instructor, Lucas Gore, focusing on goalie-specific skills and techniques.
- 3x Showcase Games: Athletes compete in three full showcase games, putting their skills on display for OHA coaches and college scouts while receiving real-time feedback and guidance.
- School Tour: Participants tour the OHA Penticton campus, exploring academic programs and discovering how OHA supports student-athletes in balancing education with athletics.
Goalies
Please note, all goaltenders will be waitlisted and will be reviewed by our coaching staff. If accepted, to the camp, we will advise via email. All goalies will be contacted by the first week of March.
Schedule
The schedule will be released closer to the event. For planning purposes, please look to be in Penticton for early afternoon on Thursday with the event wrapping up on Saturday afternoon by 5:00 PM.*
