Welcome (Back) to OHA, Kyle Spencer!
We’re excited to announce that Kyle Spencer has been named the Head Coach of the U18 Female Prep Black team for the 2025–2026 season at OHA Penticton!
Kyle brings with him a remarkable wealth of experience and a lifelong passion for the game, having dedicated his career to hockey both on the ice and behind the bench.
As a player, Kyle spent five seasons in the AJHL before continuing his career with standout performances at N.A.I.T, where he was part of a Canadian College Championship team, and Red Deer College, where he helped lead the team to a Silver Medal finish.
Since transitioning to coaching in 1993, Kyle has worked across all levels of the game, from Midget to Junior, building a strong reputation for player development, team culture, and leadership. His coaching philosophy is rooted in hard work, accountability, and helping athletes reach their full potential — on and off the ice.
Kyle is no stranger to OHA, having served as the Assistant Coach of the U17 Prep team during the 2023–2024 season. We’re thrilled to welcome him back in this new role, where he’ll continue to make a positive impact on our student-athletes.
