Unique Opportunity to Join Okanagan Hockey Europe Junior U20 Team โ Fall 2025
Weโre reaching out to share an exciting opportunity with our Okanagan Hockey Europe Academy located in St. Pรถlten, Austria.
Weโre currently recruiting Canadian players for our Junior U20 team for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. This is a unique chance for mature student-athletes to live, train, and compete in Europeโwhile experiencing a high-performance hockey environment and international culture.
Here are a few important details:
- Start Date: August 22, 2025 (arrival a few days before is recommended)
- Eligibility:
- Open to Canadian and European Players
- Must be born in 2005-2007 (we can carry three 2005-born players as overagers)
- Players should have graduated or be enrolled in online schooling (no on-site academics available)
- Living: Players have their own bedroom and shared living space in a team house just a 10-minute walk from the rink.
- League Play: The team competes in an international league, playing games in both Austria and Hungary
- Development: Players receive 5-6 hours of team ice and 2-3 hours of individual ice per week.
- Visa: Players will require a Visa D, which we recommend securing before departure (we can provide full details)
