Ken Law brings nearly five decades of coaching experience and a lifelong commitment to developing young athletes to the Okanagan Hockey Academy.
Ken’s coaching journey began at the age of 17 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, when an injury shifted his focus from playing the game to helping others develop. Over the next 47 years, he built an extensive coaching career as both a head coach and assistant coach across multiple levels, while also dedicating 36 years to a career as a letter carrier.
After relocating to Penticton, Ken became actively involved with Penticton Minor Hockey before joining the BCHL’s Penticton Vees, where he spent three seasons as part of the coaching staff. He later served as Head Coach and General Manager for 16 seasons in the KIJHL with the Osoyoos Coyotes and Kelowna Chiefs, guiding players through important stages of their development and helping prepare them for the next level.
Throughout his career, Ken has been recognized for his leadership, mentorship, and ability to build strong team environments. He brings a wealth of experience, a deep understanding of the player pathway, and a genuine passion for helping young athletes grow both on and off the ice.
