MacMaster brings a wealth of experience from both his collegiate and professional hockey careers. A former Division One NCAA student-athlete, Tanner played for Quinnipiac University Menโs Ice Hockey Team, where he was instrumental in their ECAC championship victory and National finalist appearance. During his time at Quinnipiac, Tanner earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing in 2018.
Following his collegiate career, Tanner competed professionally across North America and Europe, playing for top-tier teams in the American Hockey League (AHL) and Swedenโs HockeyAllsvenskan. His time with teams like the Iowa Heartlanders (ECHL), MODO Hockey Club, Lehigh Valley Phantoms, Toronto Marlies, and Utica Comets showcased his adaptability, leadership, and ability to navigate different coaching styles and team dynamics. Tannerโs ability to foster team cohesion and handle high-pressure situations will be invaluable as he transitions into his coaching role at Okanagan Hockey, where his extensive experience will help guide the development of the U18 Female Prep team.
