Robert Dirk played eleven seasons as a professional hockey player, including nine seasons in the NHL with the Blues, Canucks, Blackhawks, Ducks and Canadiens. Prior to his professional career, Dirk played his junior hockey with the WHLโs Regina Pats and won a Bronze Medal at the World U17 Challenge. In his draft year (1984), Robert was drafted 53rd overall at the NHL Draft.
Dirk is a former Head Coach at the ECHL, WCHL and UHL level, and also served as the Head Coach of Team Pacific at the 2010 World Under-17 Challenge. Dirk joined OHA in 2006.
