ROB MCLAUGHLIN, ASSISTANT COACH, U15 PREP AC & POWER SKATING COACH

With over 20 years in coaching, McLaughlin has played significant roles in the BC Hockey High Performance program, serving as Head District Evaluator and as a coach in the high-performance tier.

McLaughlin was an Assistant Coach in the BCHL and Head Coach of the Grand Forks Bruins in the KIJHL. His involvement with Okanagan Hockey spans more than four decades, during which he has held numerous key positions, including Head Coach for three years and Assistant Coach for multiple teams at the U15 to U18 levels. He also served as Manager of Operations, where he was instrumental in managing the academy, summer camps, and overseeing all aspects of planning, scheduling, logistics, and operations.

As a Certified Power Skating instructor, McLaughlin has trained numerous high-profile clients, further solidifying his reputation as a highly skilled coach and mentor within the hockey community.
