The Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) is excited to announce the 2025 Female College Showcase happening from April 4-6, 2025 in beautiful Penticton, BC! This event is a unique opportunity for aspiring female hockey players to showcase their skills, engage with top college coaches, and elevate their game to the next level. With a full slate of exciting activities, this is a chance you wonโt want to miss!
Event Highlights:
โข OHA Information Session: Gain valuable insights into life as a student-athlete at OHA, including development pathways that help female athletes achieve both academic and hockey success.
โข College Coach Hot Stove: Meet college coaches, ask questions, and learn about potential pathways to collegiate hockey opportunities.
โข On-Ice Skills Session: Led by college coaches and OHAโs professional coaches, this session will help you sharpen your on-ice skills with expert feedback.
โข Dedicated Goalie Ice Session: Goalies will benefit from specialized instruction by OHAโs Head Goalie Instructor, Lucas Gore, whose coaching expertise includes working with the WHLโs Spokane Chiefs.
โข Strength and Conditioning Session: Enhance your performance and reduce injury risks with a session led by OHAโs Head of Strength and Conditioning, Paul Bisnauth.
โข 3x Showcase Games: Participate in three full showcase games, where you will be evaluated by both college coaches and OHAโs professional coaches.
โข School Tour with OHA Academic Advisor: Discover the academic side of your future with a tour of Penticton Secondary, a top-rated school partnered with OHA.
